Art Lo : to use texture when drawing
We continued to practice our shading techniques this week, including hatching, cross hatching and contouring. We then had a go at drawing an object in the classroom and shading it using the different techniques.
English Lo: to write effective sentences for our persuasive lette
We are continuing to write a letter today to the felt tip pens to persuade them to come back to our classroom. They have gone on strike due to our mistreatment of them and we are writing to try and persuade them back. Today we were writing the concluding sentences of our letter, including some fantastic words for big, word using the un prefix and describing what they could be doing in the classroom like swirling over brilliant blue skies and cascading over rushing rivers.
