 We learnt how to draw figures today in art. We learnt a special technique where we drew stick figures in different positions like running and jumping and then fleshed them out with sausage shapes. The end results were fantastic. 

  The pens are back! There were some very excited children today as we have really missed having the felt tips. Unfortunately, the chairs have now decided to go on strike as well so we are having to write a letter to persuade them to stay! 

 We enjoyed a visit from Adam today from Cowes library who told us all about the library and what it offers. He told us about Lego club, colouring club and games club which happen each month at the library.  He also introduced the Summer Reading challenge. Over the summer children can take part in the reading challenge reading 6 books over three visits. In return for reading the books they will receive stickers and gifts. At the end of the challenge they can draw or write a book review to be entered in a draw to win book vouchers. 

 In technology today we finished our vehicles by decorating them.
