Art Lo: to show texture when sketching
In Art today we had a go at trying to show texture when sketching, we talked about different strengths of pencil and then had a got at sketching different patterns using different strengths of pencils.
English Lo: to write effective sentences for our persuasive lette
We are continuing to write a letter today to the felt tip pens to persuade them to come back to our classroom. They have gone on strike due to our mistreatment of them and we are writing to try and persuade them back. Today we were writing the concluding sentences of our letter, including some fantastic words for big, word using the un prefix and describing what they could be doing in the classroom like swirling over brilliant blue skies and cascading over rushing rivers.
