Music Lo: to practise changing between the notes A and B and playing a simple tune.

In music we have been learning how to play the recorder. We have learnt two notes A and B but now need to practise changing quickly between the two notes in order to play a tune.

 We are continuing to write a letter today to the felt tip pens to persuade them to come back to our classroom. They have gone on strike due to our mistreatment of them and we are writing to try and persuade them back. Today we were writing the concluding sentences of our letter, including some fantastic words for big, word using the un prefix and describing what they could be doing in the classroom like swirling over brilliant blue skies and cascading over rushing rivers.

  The pens are back! There were some very excited children today as we have really missed having the felt tips. Unfortunately, the chairs have now decided to go on strike as well so we are having to write a letter to persuade them to stay!
