Geography Lo: to find out about animals in Mugurameno

 In geography today we continued to look at the village of Mugarameno in Zambia and compare it to where we live. This week we looked at the type of animals you might find in Mugarameno and how the people protect themselves and their crops from wild animals. We designed posters to warn people of the dangers.

 We are continuing to write a letter today to the felt tip pens to persuade them to come back to our classroom. They have gone on strike due to our mistreatment of them and we are writing to try and persuade them back. Today we were writing the concluding sentences of our letter, including some fantastic words for big, word using the un prefix and describing what they could be doing in the classroom like swirling over brilliant blue skies and cascading over rushing rivers.

  The pens are back! There were some very excited children today as we have really missed having the felt tips. Unfortunately, the chairs have now decided to go on strike as well so we are having to write a letter to persuade them to stay!
