English: Ridiculous Rhyme Show
Year 2 enjoyed a visit today from Joe and Andy from Rhyme Rocket on CBeebies. They brought us their ridiculous rhyme show showing us how to rhyme, with songs and poems. They were very funny and the children loved it!
English Lo: to write effective sentences for our persuasive lette
We are continuing to write a letter today to the felt tip pens to persuade them to come back to our classroom. They have gone on strike due to our mistreatment of them and we are writing to try and persuade them back. Today we were writing the concluding sentences of our letter, including some fantastic words for big, word using the un prefix and describing what they could be doing in the classroom like swirling over brilliant blue skies and cascading over rushing rivers.
